This is the polycarbonate-class greenhouse that our company has built .The covering material on the top is a polycarbonate sheets and the surrounding is covered with glass. This is also the most common covering material used in greenhouses.
About polycarbonate sheets
The thickness of the most commonly used polucarbonate sheets is 8mm, 10mm, the number of layers is 2-3, and the service life is 5-10 years, up to 15 years, but the light transmittance will be reduced.
About class cover
The glass covering the top of the greenhouse is usually 5mm thick tempered glass. Of course, it can also be changed according to customer requirements or the local climate of the greenhouse.
The greenhouse is usually surrounded by 5+6+5 insulating glass or 5+9+5 insulating glass. Compared with single-layer glass, insulating glass has stronger heat insulation or cold protection capabilities.
